Soft Revolution

its march 29th. oh my... it seems like this year has flown by. maybe because ive not been doing much. or because im doing things, just not things i NEED to do... : ) im excited to begin school again in the fall... i wish i would have started jbu in january. but its ok. i dont regret. its a waste of my time. and not a good one.

there ARE good wastes of time though... such as writing on my blogspot, hot-tubbing, watching lost and dreaming about paolo on it : ) painting my nails, walking round the block, shopping for things i do not need and probably will never, making kool-aid for jack and i, listening to "Soft Revolution" by the Stars... and many more...

so i was hanging out with a bunch of boys and my favorite big brother andrew the other day and they decided they wanted to make baseball cards. so we took some AMAZING pictures and then i put on their names and "stats" using photoshop. i love the pictures. haha. they are very silly. and silliness is ALWAYS good.

im watching lost right now and the guy im watching is paolo, is is a beautiful man. : ) i was talking to faith yesterday and i was like, so faith, who do you like? and she was like. "I like God". and i was like, HA HA, but who do you LIKE, and she was like, "I LIKE God! he is the creater of all men... " and i laughed really hard. she is so funny sometimes...

im watching MTV right now. its ridiculous. but i love it. there is a African American family and the dad has cornrows... haha... the dad just said d...head... oh gosh. and the mother looks like queen latifah or something. ggggggggg.

tonight im meeting some girls for fundraising for tonight at jbu. it should be good. then im working with danielle at the Arties show... have to rehearse for some reason tomorrow night. then its on saturday i think.. anyways. whateverrrrr..... im gonna go up to jbu or something sometime soon prolly...

so im watching Gilmore Girls right now. haha. pathetic. anyways. i went to the zoo today with josh... it was fun. we took loads and loads of pictures and saw lots of different kinds of animals... so rachel and i got new make up the other day at Sephora. I LOVE IT. its bare essentuals. and its wonderful. its so natural that you can even sleep in it. anyways. i love it. i really regret not going to cosmetology school in january now, but its ok... ill do it someday...

iowa was good. very. plain. i think i was the only girl in that state with more than two piercings. strange.
i felt kind of wierd around my family there. they acknowledged that i had a nosering though for the first time in a year. not that they said any good things about it though... : / oh well. what can i expect...

i have a cut on my lip. it hurts quite a lot. and i dont know why i have it. anyways. today is monday. sunday i woke up and went to early service with joshua, andrew, seth, and tony. then luke came later. it was fun. jay did well. and i got to see a lot of people that i love. after that i went home with rach then we went out to lunch to la ha dos with jules and molls. it was really really really good. i enjoyed it a lot. i miss those girls and when we can all get together its just like. enjoy every second of it cause they are all amazing girls! haha. im blabbing i think as an american would say. i realized today that i do have a hint of an accent in me. maybe because im around people with strong southern ones. maybe because my dad is from ireland and he has a stong accent. whooooooooknows. i can just tell that i dont speak the same way as other people do here. blah. im tired. i will finish this tomorrow morning.

last few days have been ok...nice and sunny. brad and i got tans. well... he got tan. i didnt really try very hard. and i was kind of fickle with going in and out.

the boys are out working on the van and its like. midnight. they have been working since 2. determined? i think yes.

anyways. im tired. and i have no energy, unlike those boys in the garage...

this is how we do it...

today i woke up at 10 and i heard grp outside my window, loading their stuff. they have a concert in kansas tonight.. i hope it goes well. anyways. then i got up and got ready and used all my new sephora stuff and then went to the rugby game to support my rugby friends. when i got there i was surprised to see so many people i love. pritz and jules, bradry, jill, jason, ted, caitlyn, amber, lizzie, hannah, hope, flora, etc... there were some super cool people. so i hung out with them at the game and watched jbu killllllllll pitt...while brad was being eaten by bugs.


after the game i went to sonic with pritz, ted, jason, jeremy, and danielle. it was fun... we rode in pritz's minivan... i havent been in a mini van in ages! it was great. so i got a diet vanilla dr. pepper and it was incredible... yesterday i went shopping with Wes and eric and ian. it was fun, but wierd shopping with boys. haha. its not that ive never done it before, but im usually not the ONLY girl... so i went to coach and spoilt myself completely too much. i got these keyrings... and im not even going to say how much they were. you can look @ coach.com. but. i spent too much. : ) although, i do love them. and they are made with real leather and will last a long time. so i dont feel TOO bad.


im watching eric and wes play guitar hero. haha. they are funny. i love wes ! he is super cool. and very fun to hang out with. im sad we werent friends before this! he's awesome. and eric... emmmmmmmmm. yeah. haha. no... he is cool too. but a bit odd around the edges... : )

anyways... i have a party to go to at nine with the guy im supposed to be dating. even though we REALLY arent. we are just good friends. actually. bffs. : ) anyways. so yeah. that will be fun. lots of cool people.

just got back from walker... i went to drop off andrew and say hello to faith and megan...
before that we were at the Houstons house with wes and eric.
we had some amazing apple pie and andrew even had some apple juice.

...im listening to albert hammond jr. tonight.
he is great. he is very very similar to the strokes... who i love.
its funny to see how much he does in the strokes.

so many things are going on right now. its weighing down on me and right now i am just going to relax.
here is an email i wrote to miss mollie mashburn. its much easier than writing out again what has been going on in my life for the past few days. except about half of it is cut out. haha. innapropriate for blogspot.


hey mollsies... so... i dyed my hair red. i like it. i think you will like it too. i hope you will! i did it at like three in the morning two nights ago... it was kind of a random thing. its crazy though how much your haircolor effects how people think of you. haha. last night i went to a marykay thing with kirsten and i was bored so i drew a little heart on my ankle, and it looked funny at first so i tried fixing it and then it just made it bigger and bigger until it was like. noticable. (is that how you spell it? idk. lol.) notisable? noticeable? hmm. anyways. haha. so today ian mccloud asked me if it was real and then wes grierson, a friend from ireland who is staying with us for his concert tomorrow night, asked me, it was funny. cause both of those guys have like 4 different tattoos. but anyways. so yeah. its wierd how hair color is such a big deal. haha. with blonde hair i doubt anyone would think i would have a tattoo... red fits me better i think. blonde was fun though.

emmm so yeah. you werent at tea the other night. i missed you. so did lots of other people. but i missed you the most.
i went to the international dinner thing with bradry and jason and kelsey and some other people and it was nice, but, really wierd. like. idk. people are wierd sometimes. but i got henna done! that was cool. lol. i had a crush on a guy who was getting it done next to me, he was really hot... haha. bradry made fun of me for it for about an hour. then we went to tea.

so brad and i hung out at tea for a while then we went to the intermeral game with some other people. so yeahhhh. then today i woke up to Wes singing his songs right outside my room at like. 8 in the morning. haha. that was kind of funny. he is such a cool guy though. you NEED to meet him. you can charm him and make him fall in love with you in like. 30 seconds and then you guys can get married and live happily ever after. haha. im pretty much going to plan out your life, K? lol.

anyways. and todayyy... wes and i and the the rents and ian went up to jbu for lunch in the caf. it was fun. loads of people like. surrounded us. cause he is irish. and his music was playing cause they were selling tickets... so yeah. im bored. i just got back from sonic. and i got a blue coconut slush cause snorri said they were good, and it kind of made me sick. ick. too much sugar. and blue. blueness.

Srsly...

its march! strange... i was in the movie store tonight and i saw the movie "closer" i love that movie. so i put up a picture of natalie portman. shes my favorite actress...anyways. March. i dont feel like it should be yet... yesterday i filled out my housing form for jbu in august and i put january. yes. im an idiot sometimes...only the days that end in y... : )
anyways, i just got back from a 4 mile walk with jack. it felt good. even though its a bit chilly out and VERY windy. i got honked at 3 times by trucks covered in dirt. i dont know if that is a good thing or not. i felt a bit vulnerable all by myself out there... but its ok. i dont usually walk to jbu when im with jack, i usually walk round villa view then up to the highway and back and thats about 3 miles... but today we walked to jbu.

i like walking with him. even though we dont talk about things or anything like that, he still is fun to watch and he keeps me going. i dont know how people walk regularly without dogs. it wouldnt be the same.

anyways... so yesterday ashlin came over from fay at about 5 and we went to dinner @ la huerta... it was good. we talked and ate for about an hour and a half then went back to my house and got in the hot tub... it was really good! we dont get to really just talk to each other, without interuptions, very often. so it was really good to be able to do that... we stayed up really late just talking on my bed after the hot tub.. then we slept till 10 and got up and talked for another little bit then fell back asleep until 3:30! craziness. srsly.

so then today i just hung out and we went to sonic and got vanilla dr. peppers then i went home and i just hung out and worked on some pictures and video editing and things like that on my computer...

my mom and dad were in fayetteville getting my car fixed, the brakes were going out, and they went to the mac store since my mom just got a new macbook yesterday so they got me a few things and made me smile. one of my favorite things is a keyboard cover thats like a skin kind of. but its pink. super cute i think.

anyways. so tonight scott and jimena came over and made enchiladas for us and they were spectacular! and i dont even like spicy food.. sooo yeah... and then i went to claires for a movie and now im back at the house for a movie with some hottays.. :) aka-josh, seth, john, andrew, and alex.

i think i am annoying them by using my computer during this movie but i hate war-navy-marine movies. idk why. they just dont interest me... i wish they did. then i could be enjoying this right now. haha.
