Well, it is halfway through my Christmas break and it has been full of shopping, cooking, driving, talking, crying, laughing, and loving. My wonderful family from Chicago came down to see us and just left today. I got to meet my auntie Belle's fiance and also got to see Connor and Colleen for the first time in a while! :) It was good. We had our annual New Years Eve party last night and it was a lot of fun. It is hard though being single this time of year. Especially when past relationships leave scars behind long after they are gone. That's been the crying part. However, i have grown closer to God in the past two months than i have in years. I feel that he shows me beauty in His world every time i lose sight of His love. I have seen many beautiful skies, meteor showers, and thunderstorms as of late, all of which i adore. He has also given me an amazing family who supports me and good friends who are going through the same thing. I also have three crazy toy poodles that make me laugh even when i am not happy with them. :)
This semester i will be taking Social Psychology, Research Methods, Psychology of Relationship Development, and Physical Science. JOY. :) I will also be working at the NWA Children's Shelter every sunday like always. I am enjoying it, but it is also a lot of hard work and a lot of emotional stress. It isnt easy dealing with angry teenage girls and little naughty five year olds all at the same time, haha. So I am very thankful for my coworker, Savanna, who is going through it all with me:)
