Bret You Got It Goin' On...

Well. I am in Western Civilization I. Bored to death. So, i shall blog.

I have been so busy lately. It seems like once i finish one paper, i start another. Once i take one test, i have to study for another. Once one group project is completed, we begin an entire new one.

I want a break.

This is when i feel like the life i have in Northern Ireland is for me. Permanently. I mean, when i am there, i am not employed, i am not a student, i go shopping all day and enjoy the luxuries of the city--Sidewalk cafes, House of Frasier, Urban Outfitters, amazing restaurants, the Odyssey, Coach, Prada, D&G, The Northern Whig, Bar Se7en, Villa Italia, and the list just goes on and on...

I am not meant for the life of a student. I need sleep, i need healthy food, i need alone time. Here at jbu, i get almost none of those. I don't get any sleep because either i am out with friends or i am doing homework/studying. I dont do well getting healthy food because of the caf. However, i am still learning how to succeed with that, because i do believe it is possible. you just have to work to find it. I have been on a straight fruit and granola diet for the past few days, which has been great. i feel like i am just more energized and ready for the day after having yogurt, granola, and blueberries. and then for lunch i have a banana and peanut butter. mmm. :) and then the last one, alone time. goodness. that is an unknown phrase in mayfield. haha. its great, im so glad i live there, but it is a little overwhelming at times.

I have completely missed this entire lecture on Legal Codes and Consequences of Expansion in the Greek Culture. Im sorry, but i have no interest in learning about the Control of Provinces or the major sources of slaves in that time. ick. Leave the past in the past. learn what you can, but then just let it go.

Well. The title of this post is "Bret you got it goin' on". It is a song by Flight of the Conchords. It is hilarious. I feel like it is sort of like Sarah and me. haha. oh roommates. They're the best. :) Listen to it on a rainy day...
